What device do I need to use?
You must have an internet connection to take class. Since you are meeting with people from other parts of the world, we recommend high speed internet and hard wire connections whenever possible. You can connect using a desktop or laptop computer using the Chrome Browser. Click here to download Chrome for free. We recently added the ability to use the iPad and you may use safari. Smart Phones can be used but are not ideal. The phone is too small and therefore you cannot see the teacher and the curriculum at the same time. We recommend phones only as a last minute no other option alternative.
What time zone do I use?
When you register for the first time you will be asked what time zone you would like to use. Please make sure you select the correct time zone for your area. After this all of the classes will automatically adjust to your time zone.
How long are classes?
Classes are 25 minutes. You may enter the class up to 5 minutes before class time to test your equipment and get prepared. Your teacher will not begin the lesson until the scheduled time. Don’t be late because the teacher cannot teach longer. The latest the teacher is allowed to work is until the 28-minute mark so they can prepare for their next class.
Who do I talk to about scheduling classes?
You may email firstname.lastname@example.org or message us using the website in the bottom right hand corner of the homepage if you have any questions regarding classes or would like to request a special class time. You should not talk to a teacher directly about scheduling as this could put them in an uncomfortable position. They have already opened their availability and we will do the facilitating if you need a special class time.
How do I prepare for class?
You may log in up to 5 minutes before class to get prepared and make sure your microphone and camera are working. We recommend you complete a "System Check" prior to class.
